This seminar brings together two scholars at the forefront of penal policy and criminal justice: Baroness Vivien Stern CBE and Professor Andrew Coyle CMG.

How can prisons be managed in a way that achieves community expectations regarding punishment and deterrence while ensuring the realisation of human rights? What can we learn from other countries and prison systems about how to rehabilitate prisoners in a just, decent, humane and cost effective manner? Register here
